About the Wi-Fi version:

1. The Wi-Fi sensor connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and does not require a hub.

2. Route creation on Alexa is not supported.

3. The battery is not included.

About monitoring principles:

1. The sensor uses ambient infrared radiation as its detection method.

2. During installation, avoid direct sunlight and other heat sources, as they can interfere with the detection results.

3. It can only detect variations in background radiation and cannot monitor movement within that radiation.

4. To prevent duplicate alarms, we use internal logic:

a. If the previous state is "person," upon detection of a presence, an alarm is immediately triggered, and the state is changed to "Human Presence." Simultaneously activate the 30-second "Human Presence" countdown and do not perform another check until the countdown has finished.

-b. If the "Human Status" countdown stops, and someone is still present, restart the "Human Status" countdown for another 30 seconds.

-c. If the "Human Status" countdown stops, and no one remains for 10 seconds, the sensor sets the status to "Person" and reports this information.

Therefore, it is incorrect to immediately test by waving your arms after setup is complete.

The correct testing method is to completely leave the sensor for at least 40 seconds before reappearing within its detection range.
