The special feature of this The GC version is its dry contact output. The thermostat does not directly supply voltage to the boiler's control terminal; its relay acts as a simple ON/OFF switch.

When the ambient temperature is below the setpoint, the thermostat closes the contact and calls for heating. Once the desired temperature is reached, it opens the contact.
